Jelly Flashback

I am very excited to discuss my new favorite trend, Jelly shoes! I used to wear them in the 80's, during my toddler phase, and now I am so glad to see them make a comeback!! I first saw them at the grocery store (who would have thought) a few weeks ago. I picked them up, showed my husband, and had a nostalgic moment, but I didn't buy them. Throughout the rest of that week, I kept thinking about those stupid shoes! I went back to the grocery store to get a pair and they only had one size 8 left which were on clearance for a whopping $2.99! I then, rushed to the other grocery store to see if they had any left and found another size 8. I was really excited to find a black and a clear pair, but I really wanted a pair of charcoal ones ( I know, never satisfied). Then, my lucky day.... I was perusing through the Goodwill (in my black Jellies) and found Steve Madden Charcoal Jellies!!!! I was beyond excited. Really, I have got to get a life if I am getting this excited about $5.99 used shoes... but hey, that's who I am :) So, now I have 3 pairs of my favorite childhood shoes and they all cost me under $13!  My Jellies aren't the only cool thing in my post today either!! My top is pretty sweet, and you might recognize my shorts from my previous beach shoot, I cut them off! To be honest, white jeans are not for me, but I can dig the white cut off shorts! What do you guys think about the Jelly trend? I actually haven't seen them in any magazines so, I might be alone on this one? My whole outfit today rang in around$37.00!!
