Cable Knit Season

Tuesday, September 20, 2011

I've been seeing knits all over the fall runways and I am just ecstatic about this trend. My favorite element of fashion is comfort! I hate to be uncomfortable whether it be too high of heels, tight pants or a dress I have to keep pulling over my rear. I like to walk out of the house and not be plagued by the thought of what I am wearing. Thus, sweaters provide a great sense of contentment for me :) My only problem with bulky sweaters is that I already have a bulky bottom so I have to make sure my proportions are always in sync. I was really excited when I found this flowy ivory dress, but even more excited when I figured out I could pair it with this awesome cable knit sweater! I love this look because, I can wear it a variety of ways. I can wear it, with  boots, tights, long sleeves, a scarf, and either all together or all apart. I also like that I can wear it to the office or dress is down for a movie date. Can you tell I am totally psyched about it? The total cost was under $25!!!

This belt was another one of my thrift store finds. It had no tags  but I'm pretty sure it is from Target originally.
I only paid $2 for it.

My beautiful Cameo ring was my mother's and she gave it to me for my eighth grade graduation. The Brown bangle my girlfriend brought me from a peddler's market in Greece :)

I actually bought these earrings when I was attending Fresno State.
They had a little street vendor and I only paid 3 bucks!
