One of a Kind Giveaway!!!

Sunday, November 13, 2011

Alright folks, it is finally time for me to do a giveaway! I have been wanting to do this for sometime now, I just didn't know what I wanted to share with you. If you haven't seen my tutorial on how to convert a skirt in to an apron, you don't know how obsessed I've been with this novel approach. I recently figured out I could make a full apron from a dress too!! I would like to giveaway a My Thrifty Chic original apron! I saw this adorable pattern dress at the Thrift store and knew it would make a spectacular apron. Now, I have only been sewing for a few months so this apron doesn't resemble a factory made one. It is the only one of its kind and made with an immense amount of love!! I hope you love this apron as much as I do (I struggled with parting with it) and I know who ever wins will be the most stylish cook this holiday season!!

Note: This apron has ties so should fit almost any body type :)

To Enter:

1. Please Follow @mythriftychic on Twitter
2. "Like" My Thrifty Chic's Facebook page
3. Leave a comment on this page sharing a holiday tradition that is unique to your family
4. (Optional but huge brownie points) I would be thrilled if you shared my link with your friends via Facebook or Twitter

This giveaway will be open to US residents only, my apologies. The giveaway will end next Friday (November 18, 2011). I will pick a name out of a hat and contact the winner via email. So, please remember to leave your email.

I'm not sure if we have a unique holiday tradition, but my favorites are doing an advent calendar with little notes each day and little prizes for my kids. It's so fun!

One of our holiday traditions is to wait to have thanksgiving on black friday. We invite all our families and friends. While they are all out shopping my mom and I make everything for dinner from scratch for tons of people. It a great way for her and I to just enjoy lots of laughs and coffee. We have been doing this for 13 years and each year she teaches me the secret to a new dish. Its the tradition and holiday I look forward to each year

YAY SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! I already follow you everywhere! I did retweet for you on twitter though!

Holiday Tradition for the crazy Claiborne family: Thanksgiving we go to the casino in Shreveport and eat dinner there, then gamble together! A family that plays together stays together! HEY!!!

What a sweet idea to make an apron! This is almost too pretty to wear just when you're cooking!

Slightly cheesy but still special to me and my family is our tradition of saying one thing we're all thankful for right before we say grace and eat. It takes a little while to go around the circle of 35 people!
