Okay, Okay, I have kept you at bay for over a week now.... I shall reveal where my hubs and I ended up last Saturday night. I apologize for hyping it up so much, it will probably be lack luster ;)

....After we left Dana Point, we continued south. By this time I knew he was taking me to San Diego, because my passport expired and we couldn't go to Mexico :D He ended up taking me to downtown San Diego, shockingly, I'd never been there. We drove around looking at the cool buildings and found this awesome art piece. I made him stop so we could shoot my last outfit there.

This little number cost me just under $50!!

When we left downtown, he took me to Mission Beach, another place I have never been! He had made reservations for dinner at a restaurant right on the beach..... It was so sweet, until we found out it was more of a college bar than a restaurant. There was a door guy who looked like he TiVo's Jersey Shore and a beer pong table set up, it's not exactly how we envisioned our evening :D Luckily, my husband married a very easy going gal, we took one look at each other and headed for the car! We drove around looking for another place to eat. My husband was really defeated, because he had tried so hard to make the day so romantic and thoughtful. I finally convinced him to go to Denny's and we had a spectacularly thrifty meal!! Totally up my ally :) Some girls may not find this romantic in the slightest, but that's how we roll ;)
