The sad part about my resistance to flare jeans, is that they are actually really flattering on my figure. They are way more flattering to all body types in comparison to the Skinny Jean {which I am ready to see leave}.
Today, I am getting back into the idea of flared jeans, I am sporting a trouser cut. For some reason the word "trouser" is much more appealing to me than "bell bottom." {I think I have serious psychological issues} :D I really do love the jeans I am showing off today, they are a dark wash so they make me appear slimmer and then paired with a heel, they give the illusion of height. That is what clothing is all about right? It's supposed to make you a better you {wink}!!
How are you guys feeling about the Flare comeback? Also what styles were you wearing in high school that still make you cringe??
This whole outfit cost under $40!!! What a deal!

Omgosh, I'm with you on the 90's denim! I loved flares. I even had a pair that laced up the front with a suede tie (BARF)! I've mixed feelings about their return. I often see stylish bloggers sporting them and think that they look great. But I'm not sure I'm ready. It makes me feel old seeing trends come back around!! xx Nat
AH , what an AWESOME ring! Loving it! :)
xo,
Natalie
I do like the flares, of course one of the nice things about skinnies is how they show off your shoes! and those teal wedges need to be shown off, because they are so pretty.
Chic on the Cheap

Yes, I know what you mean about flared-leg induced bad flashbacks, but I think if you go for a super dark wash and make sure you don't rip the backs of the flares with your scuffing of feet, you will look modern again! I love that top you're working, also makes it very un-high school.
good blog
