Not meaning to bum you out, I'm just not a big fan. This year I told my husband "we're not doing anything, right?" He looked at me all bummed and told me he did in fact want to do something, at least go to dinner. My compromise, was as long as it wasn't on the actual day itself! I worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years, V-day and Mother's Day are the two days you never want to eat out!! (Unless you want to share it with a million other people, long waits and pissed off wait staff).
So we agreed, we would celebrate a little. I was then left with the conundrum of what to buy him, because I know he got me something. I didn't want to buy him a lame teddy bear or cream filled pastries. While I was in the grocery store contemplating these "deep issues," I heard someone announce they were giving away free stuff in produce.....
I am not one to walk away from free stuff, so I mosied on over there to see what was happening. Long story short, they were having a promo for these cool heating pads. After listening to this little marketing speech for only 5 minutes, I walked away with movie coupons that I can reuse as many times as I want for 90 days, a $25 gift card to Restaurants.com and one of their shoulder/neck heating pads for only $19.99 (regularly $50). If you want to see what exactly it is, click this link.
I thought this little unexpected turn of events was a great story and great gift for my husband! I gave it to him early, (because I am always so impatient) but he loved it!! We are going to use the coupons toward our V-day outing!

I really wanted to share my story with you today, but I couldn't not show you some pics of this cute outfit :)
