About a month ago, I decided I wanted to connect more with my fellow bloggers and I wanted to start hosing wardrobe challenges. This is my first wardrobe challenge and it was quite the learning experience for me. I am so glad 5 other amazing bloggers decided to take this journey with me, I can't wait to see what they put together!
When I first thought about what type of Challenge to tackle, many entered my mind. The one idea that was the most intriguing was to restyle a vintage piece and make it modern. My husband is always laughing at me for picking up pieces at the thrift store that look very "grandma-ish." I thought that would make the perfect wardrobe challenge; to re-do something your grandma would have worn!
I challenged the other bloggers (and myself) to either find something actually from grandmother's closet or find a piece from a thrift store that someone else's grandma would have worn. I was not able to make it to my grandma's home since she lives 4 hours away, but I did find a very 50's housewife pleated skirt at the thrift store.
I went all out for this challenge, my husband and I even shot the pictures next to my neighbor's Chevy Bel Air! My wardrobe challenge "granny re-do" look cost $41.76 + $50 (for the bag)... still rings in under $100!!
P.S. be sure to scroll to the bottom and check out the other bloggers and how they approached this challenge!!

Doesn't look like anything my grandmother would have worn. What do husbands know anyway. Buy what you like... you have great style.
