Concert Bound

Monday, July 23, 2012

This past Friday, my husband and I decided to go see one of our favorite local band, The Peach Kings! They really are an awesome group and I believe they are on the edge of making it big! Hopefully I can get an exclusive interview with Paige Wood, the lead singer, who has great retro style!

One of the things I love about concerts, is that you really can get more creative with your attire. Music is such a soulful art form and I love the fashion it brings out in people. Concerts are one of my favorite places to draw inspiration!

My concert outfit was inspired by a look I found on Pinterest, and I just so happened to have all the components in my closet :) My look cost under $30.00.

How do you think my version compares?

These "shorts" have made a few other appearances on {mtc} as well!
On the left they are in their original state, and on the right, I did a little editing ;)

You can also find {mtc} on Facebook, Twitter & Bloglovin'

Perfect concert attire! Funny, I never look good at concerts because I always get really hot so I just wear something lightweight. I really should start making more of an effort! You look adorable!

Hello! I just found your blog because you commented on mine! :)

I love this outfit for a concert! I think you did a good job of both duplicating and personalizing the outfit from the Pinterest inspiration. I'm actually using YOU for inspiration now because I'm going to a concert next week! :)

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
