Are my photos too sexy? Blame my husband.

Monday, September 10, 2012

I don't usually do a quirky title for my posts, but this just seemed fitting. I know a lot of bloggers recruit their husbands and boyfriends to take their pictures, I mean it is free labor. However, the downside to having someone who is attracted to you sexually taking your photos, is that the POV is often skewed. When editing my images I often see wildly inappropriate images and I have to remind my husband that my blog is tailored towards women, not dirty old men (I think...) I cannot tell you how many times my derriere is the focus on his camera.

Yes, it's very nice that my husband thinks I am the sexiest woman on Earth (no complaints on that), but when taking "fashion" photographs... it can be annoying. There is a slight chance that it could be my fault, seeing as how I am the one "modeling" I say that term very loosely! However, seeing as how I can't model well at all, it must be the photographers fault, right? Let's just agree that it's all my husbands fault.

I happen to love this outfit today. It's very basic and there's really nothing unique about it, but I feel sexy in it. Do you have garments like that? One's that are very plain, but make you feel confident?

It's just a simple black skirt and a silk blouse, but sometimes the most effortless outfit can speak volumes. I wear this outfit to work pretty frequently, and I LOVE these new pumps I picked up a couple weeks ago!
