Project Re-styled

Tuesday, October 9, 2012

A few weeks ago I participated in a styling competition held by my local mall, you can read all about it here. This is the outfit I won in, minus the sweater. I had a whole vision in my head before I began shopping, and I am so glad I was able to pull it all together! I really wanted to do separates and focus on layers for fall. My explanation to the judges was that I wanted to incorporate as many trends into one outfit as possible. So, in this one outfit I integrated the following trends for fall 2012: jewel tones, sheer fabrics, prints and gray (which is the new neutral).
I am so glad the judges liked my look and recognized my talent. I also love that I will be able to wear this outfit and restyle it for seasons to come! I don't have totals for this look because it was all free to me. A big thank you to South Bay Galleria for inviting me to participate! If you live in the South Bay or Los Angeles area, check their website to enter for Project Style in 2013!
