Pastels in the Winter

Oh my, it's Monday again. This has been a rough weekend for me. First Friday's event really broke my heart, as it did the rest of the world. Then, I came down with the stomach flu on Sunday, so blogging wasn't my first priority. I still have a heavy heart today, but I trust our nation will rebound and show the strength and support we have in past tragedies. I am also looking forward to going back to my hometown sometime this week to start Christmas festivities. I haven't seen my brother and sister for over a month, and my sister is pretty furious with me!

Moving on to my little outfit today, I found these mint jeans a few weeks ago and I don't have the patience to wait for Spring to wear them! Since our seasons blur together in LA, it's not a huge fashion sin to wear pastels in the winter, especially this trend cycle. These pastel jeans made their presence known last spring, and they will be back in 2013, so don't toss yours out just yet!
