{Outfit Post} Cat Scratch Fever

It's winter in Los Angeles, meaning the temperature can range between 40-70 degrees. It's a stark contrast to the winters I witnessed in Chicago. Sometimes I long for the snow, but then I remember what it feels like to have your lungs ice over. I do miss the act of accessorizing during those chilly months; scarves, beanies, mittens, they all make me feel so cozy. If I tried any of those combos in LA I would immediately begin to sweat. Thus, I have learned to tailor my accessorizing to my climate. For example, today it was 50 degrees and I went with a pair of thin tights, a sheer scarf, faux fur leg warmers and a big floppy hat.

The theme of this feline look began with my DIY graphic cat tee. I painted it the other night and I have been dying to wear it. I then began to adorn myself in cat inspired trimmings. These faux fur leg warmers are one of my newest additions and I have been anxiously waiting to style them for you as well!

  5. This is too cute. I love that. I know how you feel about the weather change. Today was about 75s but the other day was 50s. I think I would rather have low 40s all the time. Maybe. I don't know, I like my warm weather.
