{outfit post} sequins & knit

Tuesday, January 1, 2013

What better way to welcome the first day of 2013 than with sequins?  I hope you all had a fun and safe night last night, mine was spent on my couch drinking copious amounts of coffee and changing out the laundry.... and I couldn't have been happier! I spent the majority of my twenties working in a bar every New Year's Eve and the idea of recreating that scene with out being paid, is ludicrous to me. I prefer a much more low key NYE at this point in my life. Huge bar tabs and headaches are not the most appealing way to ring in the new year for me anymore.

I did put some sequins on for the occasion! My husband and I grabbed an early dinner of sushi and then headed home before the crazies hit the town. Excuse my blasted out lighting, my knit top is actually an army green. I bought it the other day at Nordstrom Rack and I am utterly obsessed with it! I bought it a size too big, which it a new thing I have been doing with sweaters. I am enjoying the slouchy trend, and it's super comfortable! The Rack had multiple colors in this sweater and I am going to be picking up a few more!
