{outfit post} Sweater and Tattered Jeans

I know I wear a lot of dresses and heels, but I do own jeans too. I actually own over 30 pairs of denim pants, and I realize I rarely post them. Truth is, I rarely wear jeans... that is up until now. The past 4 years I have been working in healthcare, and jeans are not part of the dress code. I became used to dressing professional, or at least testing the boundaries of professional attire. But... there has be a slight change in my job, and the dress code policy with it. I recently became unemployed. Although I am pretty freaked out about having to find a new job, I am thoroughly enjoying lounging in my jeans as of late.

This little look is what I wore to run errands in last weekend. I know some may think I run around in 5 inch stilettos and a fur caplet all the time, but that's absurd. Confession: as soon as I shut my front door, I am already pulling off all my clothes and looking for the ugliest and most over-sized garment I can find. I love dressing up, but I love dressing down too!

  18. Good luck on your job search! It's tough out there for just about everyone right now. I am in the same boat as you, but I am really lucky that my husband has always forced savings down my throat and we aren't in a panic over my situation yet. I think you look wonderful in this simple, but classic look and you have such a positive outlook. I send you all my best wishes for a great job soon!

  19. Love that photo of you sitting down. Such a cute casual look. I am the same way these days. Find me the largest, ugliest shirt (i.e. something from my husband) and I'm wearing it!
