JCP shoe revelation

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

Are you a shoe hoarder like me? Are you tired of paying hundreds of dollars for the newest pair of trendy pumps that, let’s face it, you’re only going to wear 3 times? Are you bored with Forever 21 and H&M’s selection? Well ladies, I have found new inspiration in one of the most unlikely of places… JCPenny! That’s right, that store your grandma loves, has stepped up their game and they are carrying awesome kicks right now! I don’t know when this happened, but they totally failed to tell me about it!

I was browsing Pinterest last night and I saw a super chic pair of pumps. I ended up, following the rabbit down the hole (or just the pinned links) and I wound up on JCP’s website. I was totally flabbergasted by what I found. I went through all 15 pages of the women’s shoes and I wanted to share with you my top 10. A lot of the super cute ones are almost sold out, so act fast! You might also want to check your local brick and mortar store, they may have a pretty good selection too!

JCP is in the middle of a total business over-haul. They’ve been on the brink of utter failure, and they say, they’re trying to reposition themselves in the market place. Perhaps, that is where these hip, trendy new shoes are coming from. I’m not sure what their entire strategy is, or what the fate of the store is, but seriously you’ve got to check out their latest selection. I would honestly wear every single shoe I’ve shown to you today... not to mention their price points are super affordable!

What do you think of this selection? Are you a JCP shopper?

These look really nice. I usually don't shop there since we do not have too many locations around here

Oh gosh, I am a total shoe junkie. My closet can't even handle them all. I've always shopped JCP. I live in a small town so we only have a small selection of stores and that is one that I grew up with! Love these pics, especially the colorblock sandals!

I used to shop JCP with my grandma and got a lot of my school clothes there. I haven't been to one in years but my good friend is always telling me to go there, they have a good selection of tall sizes in pants too I hear.

Hi Tori!
I don't know when they changed (for the better!) but JCP has become of my favorite places for chic and cheap pieces. I love those cap toe flats!

I'm a huge fan of your blog and the way you always find AMAZING things while thrifting! Watching your blog evolve and grow has inspired me to start my own! Maybe you can check it out sometime! I think we both love the thrill of finding an amazing deal :)
