Simple & Chic

Being unemployed means finding it difficult to get dressed everyday. In order to combat laziness, I do try to get up, put make up on and attempt to make myself presentable to the world. There are many days I wish I could stay in my pajamas all day (but only a few that I in fact do). I have found new ways to be well dressed, without being over dressed. For example, these Tory Burch flats elevate any outfit, because well... they're Tory-freaking-Burch! Did I mention I only paid six bucks for them?!?!?! Major, major steal! I have been hunting a pair of Tory Burch flats for a couple years now, and I refuse to pay $80 for the used ones on eBay. I don't mind second hand, but that's a little much for used shoes in my opinion. I paired my luxurious flats with my tattered old jeans and a flowy blouse for an effortless chic vibe. I also went retro with a messy bun instead of the ever-trendy top knot. Do you remember the messy bun? I remember the first time I tried it in junior high, and there was a "specific" way to do it, LOL. Now we have the more polished version, a top knot. I still use messy buns, but they're usually reserved for only me to see.

Do you have any tips for staying stylish while being unemployed?
