Sometimes outfits happen organically, and sometimes you try on 19 different things before it looks right. This look was a happy accident! I have this tube top maxi dress (that I frequently wear as a skirt), in my closet, and it was the first thing I grabbed the other day. I am not like other girls in that they build an outfit around their shoes, I build an outfit by what is clean and practical, lol. This maxi is so comfortable, and I wear it every chance I get. Maxi's can often make a short girl, like myself, look stumpy and boxy, so I thought this floral peplum top would be the perfect compliment. The peplum defines my waist without hugging all my curves, win/win! It's crazy to think I have had both of these garments in my closet for over a year and I've never put them together!
I also have a bit of news for you... I just got the call for a new job! It's a position as an executive assistant for a digital marketing company, hello, right up my alley! I knew I immediately wanted the positions as soon as I heard about it. Fortunately, my winning spirit and previous experience won me the position!! Thank you to everyone who has been sending me good vibes!
