I think it's official, I am allergic to my birthday. Last year I had a major meltdown about turning 27, and life not going as I had planned, yada, yada, yada. This year, I am sick. I have a very busy week at work (planning a Board Meeting and such), and I had to leave work early yesterday I was so ill. I am experinecing a full fledged summer cold. I have not one, but two cold sores, one in each corner of my mouth. I have a dry, itchy throat with a runny nose and my head feels like it's going to pop. So, all of this can only mean one thing... my body is refusing to turn 28. Although I am over the emotional break down I had last year, I am still not super enthused about my birthday. Should I be? I mean everyone else loves their birthday and makes a big deal out of it. I am just hoping to survive the week without sneezing snot all over one of our investors at work... that will be an accomplishment ;)

I shot this outfit a couple weeks ago (I'm behind on my outfit posts). I have been staring at this yellow cardi in my closet for months, struggling how to wear it. Sometimes the simplest pieces cause me the most angst. It's cropped, it has a boat neck, and ruffles.. for some reason I just couldn't figure out how I wanted to wear it. Total #fashionbloggerproblems right there, lol! But I finally figured it out. I really like layering button downs and cardigans, but I especially love finding new ways to wear my boyfriend jeans!

Love how you styled the yellow cardi! And it stinks that you are sick - especially on your birthday! I hope you feel better soon! And I had my 28th birthday in March so I know how it feels to be that much closer to 30! I also know how it feels to not feel like you've accomplished a lot. I still don't really have a job or career...or kids and sometimes I feel like a loser! But you can't compare yourself to others. And I've started to realize how lucky I am to be turning another year older. It's morbid, I know, but a lot of people don't make it to 28! At least that's how I think about it now. I just try to be grateful for everyday and the turning older thing doesn't really bother me that much anymore!

Cute and nice coat.Being confident all over your prom gowns would also help if you place perfect accessories furthermore. You surely shouldn't look dull and boring while everyone their very own jewelries on. Moreover Pink Prom Dresses, using right earrings and necklace, using fortunate to accentuate your facade greater.
