Dress: unknown (similar) // Sandals: Report // Belt: Thrifted (similar) // Necklace: Anne Klein

I've bought this dress last spring, and it's always reminded me of a fairy dress, minus the fairy dust ;) There's just something about the way it blows in the wind that makes me feel ethereal. We took these photos in Playa Del Rey, and it's quite heavenly over there. Playa is only 10 minutes south of Santa Monica, but it's so much quieter and feels like a little beach town.

I have to admit, I have been having a hard time wearing my hi-low dresses since I heard Kelly Osbourne speak at LuckyFABB west. Someone asked Kelly what trend she hated, and she said she was so tired of the hi-low dresses. I don't know why it stuck with me, but I always think "Kelly would hate this." It's so silly I know, but It does restrict the frequency in which I wear this style.

How do you feel about the hi-low aka mullet dress trend?

I love the high/low... it's fun to wear... because it blows in the wind or when I come down the stairs... indeed I feel like a princess! I'll keep mine even when it goes out of style!

I loooove the hi-low style but I know what you mean because I love Kelly too and always tend to agree with her, but it broke my heart when I heard about her saying she's tired of this trend :( It looks great on you though and such an awesome color!

It does look great on you and that color is lovely! I like Kelly too but I like this dress on you.

When I hear it called Mullet, I cringe. But the hi-low sounds so much more sophisticated and elegant. I think it's an awesome trend, and yes, it can be outdone, however, with the right style (like your dress) and the right color (again, your dress) you can't go wrong with a Hi-Low!

Tori! You look beautiful, I think the hi-lo trend looks nice unless you're very short.
