Lucky FABB + Anything and Everything Blog Hop #3

Monday, April 1, 2013

I will be attending the Lucky FABB West conference this Thursday + Friday, and I am bursting with excitement and anxiety! If you aren't aware, Lucky Magazine hosts conferences for fashion bloggers, this being their 5th. There will be over 300 fashion bloggers and influences in attendance. There are some major notable speakers, women like Drew Barrymore, Kelly Osbourne, Emily Schuman (voted best fashion blog in 2010 and 2012), Mandana Dayani (VP of Rachel Zoe Inc.) and many, many more! I am overjoyed to be in attendance and to learn from some of the most successful women in fashion! On the flip side, I am agonizing over what I am going to wear. I swear all my self-assurance has flown out the window, and I don't want to be the worst dressed at the conference. For some reason, being face-to-face with all these amazing fashion bloggers thwarts all my confidence in my ability to dress myself lol. I will be sitting and taking notes for the majority of the two days, so I don't want to be uncomfortable, I am just struggling with practicality and style. Below I have put together some looks from Polyvore. I am going shopping tomorrow, so help me narrow down which direction I should go.

Hey pretty lady!! I think it is so sweet that you asked us for our opinions! BUT- you need to know that you are PERFECTLY able to put together some killer outfits, girl! Dont get nervous on us now! lol! As for my favorites, when I saw the title "Western Influence" I thought I would HATE it, but it is actually my favorite!! I love that the boots give the outfit the perfect amount of cowgirl-cute and that chunky, blingy necklace is the perfect amount of pretty to balance it out. After that my favorite is Crisp&Edgy. I think it is a bit more professional looking and I love the pop of color with the orange!! I hope you have a blast and I cant wait to see pictures!

I am somewhere between Professional & Feminine OR Bright & Girly. I am loving both looks and I am sure you will look great in anything you put together. Go with what you feel most confident in.

I'm going through the same problems right now! I will be at LuckyFABB as well, would love to meet you! My faves are bright & girly and crisp and edgy. I am planning on wearing a dress for day two, since that is when the brand experiences are, and will probably be wearing some type of pant outfit for day one. Hope that helps!

Bright & Girly, definitely! So cute, so chic! Ah... I'm drooling.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Hey! Found you via Instagram -- I'm heading to LuckyFABB, too. Would love to meet a fellow thrifty gal! My vote is for the Girly option, just because you can never go wrong with all that color. And I'm veering on the side of slightly dressier, just given the awesomeness of the occasion :) ~Madeline

Oh my gosh, how are you going to pick one? The girly look might be my favorite. Love those wedges! Thanks for hosting the link-up!

Thanks so much for letting me know about your link-up. I have just come over but I am sure you will have no problems looking fabulous at the conference. I would go with the theory that is all about personal style not fashion. Your outfits look great. It is, of course, easy to give advise. In your shoes I would be terrified!!!! Enjoy!!

That conference sounds amazing! I keep hearing about great events like this, and they sound like a great experience. Have fun! Personally, I'd probably go Bright and Girly, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!

Thanks so much for hosting the linkup! I'm always looking for ways to find great new blogs so I was so excited to find yours! Following you now on Bloglovin!

The 1st 2 are my favorites but I am sure you will look fab no matter what you end up wearing. I think it would be tough for me to figure out what to wear if I was attending a fashion blogging conference - the pressure to look comfy & chic! This sounds like a great conference to network and learn more about the are of blogging. Enjoy!
